I forgot my password to log on to windows 7  home I am the administrator
How do I reset or retrieve my password? I did not make a password reset disk when I changed my password and I can't remmber what I changed it to.

If you forgot the password of system, the official answer is NO, there is no way to get the password back . Hi Sandy8802, Yes it is possible to reset your systems's password. But, as you have mentioned you don't have password reset disk. You need to take help of Windows password recovery software. It will reset your password to blank.

If you have a system repair disc, see how to start Windows 7 password reset: Step 1: To start the System Recovery Options environment, insert the System Repair Disc into the drive and reboot the PC from CD/DVD drive. Step 2: Select your Windows installation from the list when prompted and click Next. The System Recovery Options will be displayed as follows.
